We design individual programmes for educational establishments around a core set of insurance covers.  We do this by carrying out a 120 point survey to establish your requirements.  The market for some educational risks is limited and in some cases we retain the services of one insurer to provide cover.  Please contact us to arrange a free survey.

The question of abuse insurance must be considered carefully to ensure that there is continuity of cover over the very long periods that these cases tend to arise.  Currently we are seeing claims from the 1960's and 1970's still arising.  Please see our advice page on abuse insurance.

We ensure that you comply with all requirements of the Department of Education notes on insurance: 

Buildings and contents. Insurance for the replacement cost against damage by subsidence, fire, lightning, explosion, storm, flood, riot, malicious damage, terrorism and similar risks;

Business interruption - usually additional costs of working over a suitable length of time to allow for re-building. Revenue from rental and letting.

Public and employer liability. The currently recommended level of cover for academies is £10m for each, as a minimum;

Any statutory motor transport insurance.

Engineering inspection and breakdown cover

Trustees, governors and professional indemnity insurance.
